Collingwood Model UN Chairman (Incoming President)

I serve as Chairman of Collingwood Model UN (60+ delegates & club members) helping lead training, mentoring, and conference preparation for delegates. I’ll be Vice President next year and President the following year, continuing to build a strong, student-led program focused on research, diplomacy, and confident speaking. I also introduced and run Resolution and Position Paper writing workshops after school on Thursdays for all delegates.

I’ve competed at major conferences including Harvard Model UN, CAIMUN 2025 (Interpol, Outstanding Delegation), CAHSMUN 2025 (NATO, Honourable Mention), and VMUN. Model UN has shaped how I think about global issues, collaboration, and making clear, persuasive arguments under pressure.

Vice President & Co-Director of Operations, DECA BC

I serve as Vice President & Co-Director of Operations for DECA BC, helping plan and run large-scale competitions and manage event logistics. In this role, I coordinate teams, timelines, and on-the-ground execution to ensure conferences run smoothly for hundreds of students. I became involved after qualifying for DECA ICDC 2024 (Financial Consulting), and this year I’m preparing an ICDC International Business Plan with two teammates, aiming to place at the highest level.
I also co-founded and led the DECA BC Gauntlet, the first DECA-affiliated event of its kind in BC, where I pitched the concept, organized the structure, and hosted the competition, bringing together 200+ participants from across the province. This work has strengthened my leadership in operations, stakeholder coordination, and building business-focused experiences at scale.
Collingwood Investment Committee Co-Director of Strategy and Analytics

I serve as Co-Director of Strategy and Analytics for the Collingwood Investment Committee (100+ members), where I help lead equity research, portfolio analysis, and investment strategy. My role focuses on evaluating companies, tracking macroeconomic trends, and translating data into clear recommendations for portfolio decisions. And also, trying to make the committee meeting as engaging and interesting as possible, whether it be getting a guest speaker, or proposing new meeting ideas through a stock market game, I do my best to make meetings interactive and accescible for everyone.
Through this position, I’ve developed experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, and collaborative decision-making, while helping make investing more accessible and engaging for students interested in markets and actual capital allocation.
And through this work, I was also the Team Lead for the 2025 Wharton Investment Competition, where our team placed in the top 20% of portfolios globally based on overall returns after submitting our final report.
Admissions Ambassador & Student Leadership Panelist – Collingwood School

I serve as an Admissions Ambassador at Collingwood, representing the school during tours, open houses, and admissions events. I genuinely enjoy showcasing Collingwood in the best possible light, sharing honest perspectives on academics, culture, and student life with prospective students and families. I also serve on the Admissions Leadership Panel, where I help support outreach efforts and represent the student voice as part of the broader admissions team.
Communications Committee Member & Founder/Host of Good Morning Collingwood

I’m a member of the Collingwood Communications Committee, where I help shape how information and school culture are shared across the community. In this role, I contribute to planning announcements, supporting school-wide communication through the First Five (Collingwood's main comunications platform), and helping keep students informed and engaged.
I also founded and host Good Morning Collingwood, a student-led video segment where I act as the school’s news anchor and school-spirit rep. Through interviews, event coverage, and creative storytelling, the series highlights student life, athletics, and school events, helping strengthen community connection while developing my skills in journalism, communication, and leadership.

Collingwood Public Speaking Team & Debate Club

I’ve placed at BC Speech Provincials, including 8th in Interpretive Reading and 24th in Persuasive Speaking, and continue working toward national qualification. IISPSC's 2026 as Collingwood Representative.
Within the school community, I’ve been a three-time Collingwood Speak Week finalist, 2x in Persuasive Speaking (2023, 2024) and once in Pitch (2025), regularly performing in front of large audiences. Speech and debate have strengthened my ability to think clearly, communicate under pressure, and adapt my message to different audiences.
Rugby – Collingwood & Scrum Club

I play rugby at Collingwood and train year-round through Scrum Club. As a Grade 10 student, I attend weekly Tuesday sessions with the forward's of the U18/senior squad, which has accelerated my development by training in a faster, more physical environment. I’ve also benefited from regular coaching and feedback from UBC Rugby coaches and program staff.
I currently play as first-string prop for the Grade 9-10 U16 Junior team. Rugby has strengthened my discipline and resilience, but most importantly my ability to lead through consistency, doing the unglamorous work, staying composed under pressure, and taking responsibility for the team’s performance in high-contact situations.
